Amanda has had a wide and varied career involving studio and location based presenting.

She has traveled extensively as an anchor on various holiday programmes for ITV from Antigua to the Antarctic!!

She enjoyed the challenge of a natural history series which took her all over the world to study threatened species in the wild from Great white Sharks to Grizzly Bears.

Sport has played a big part in her life being a qualified football coach, an anchor on a European football series for 7 years and British football on a live Saturday night programme for  the BBC.

Recently Amanda has been a reporter for the Uk coverage of the NBA including reports on the British basketball team for Channel 5

She also worked on the Rugby World Cup in 2007 and a Legends series of matches for Sky Studio anchor for The Boxing Championship 2008 rounds off her sporting resume.

As an adventurous girl she was chosen to host an Extreme Sports series … allowing her to do numerous crazy stunts, from cliff jumping to wing walking.

One of her main passions is all aspects of the housing market- she was in her element hosting a successful property programme- “Hot Houses” for the BBC for 4 years- achieving a BAFTA award after the first year for “Best New Programme”
This series discussed buying, selling, renovating, interior design, finding homes and problem solving for the public.

Amanda has “hands on” experience in this field and had a wealth of knowledge to share with the audience and was able to reach out and empathise with those who had problems ranging from cowboy builders to bats in the attic!!

She has beautifully restored homes in her personal time ranging from a rundown 1930’s vicarage to a Victorian house . Not one to shy away from hard work or getting her hands dirty she did most of the work herself from sanding floors, knocking down walls, putting plaster boards up and proudly putting her own fireplace in.
