JOHN AMABILE

When mentioning entertaining design and quality on television, the first name to come to mind is John Amabile

As the well-known face of British interior design, John did his initial Design Degree training in Glasgow and began his professional career in London as part of a creative team concentrating on retail and leisure design. He then diversified into Film and Television Production design before adding ‘Home’ interiors to his specialist range and his design portfolio and on screen work.

His latest on screen projects form a chief designer role on ITV1’s ’60 Minute Makeover’ now in its fifth successful series.

John first stepped in front of the camera for a host of interior design and fashion shows before joining Carol Vorderman to create ‘Better Homes’ and Scotland’s ‘The Home show’ which he co-presented with Kaye Adams for the design hungry enthusiasts of Britain.

John’s entertaining, easy going and professional manner provides hands on information when he takes us through the latest trends and styles for perfect home living. He creatively combines his on screen presenting and design career, relating his impressive skills to a wide audience.

John, as Interior designer and presenter has worked on many channels and has shared his design philosophies with the British public - presenting travel, design abroad or facing his own Design trends or Christmas strands. These include BBC1, GMTV and This Morning.

His presenting and communication skills alongside a sharp wit sense of humour are currently leading him to develop a personality profile relating to the development of people, interaction and lifestyle programming.

He is also in demand for personal appearances, award ceremony host, conference and team training events: benefiting the corporate market with his knowledge, communication and motivational skills.

With the guidance and support of a personal trainer John has been training 3-4 times a week over last 8 months. Early morning training sessions have been tiring however the rewards have been quickly reaped. With his overall weight loss to date being over 4 stones.

John has adopted a healthy eating plan after many failed diets. What worked this time for John was not exactly rocket science. Simple calorie, protein and carbohydrate calculations ensured John ate well, was never hungry and guaranteed John had sufficient energy to exercise and in turn use more calories and burn fat – he now lives by his own lifestyle weight management programme.

Everyone is now noticing the new improved John Amabile. But this new wrapper stills contains the same great contents. John’s new look is already awarding him many new avenues to pursue.
