Nichola began presenting with Channel One in Liverpool where she wrote and presented the news bulletins, and also lighter general interest packages.
Nichola then worked for the BBC in Manchester on their flagship local news programmes " North West Today" and "North West Tonight" where she wrote and presented the weather and feature reports for "Inside Out" the current affairs magazine programme. (something that she still continues to do today for various regions as a freelancer).
Nichola's chirpy voice is often heard presenting her own programme on BBC Radio Lancashire and also occasionally on BBC Radio Manchester and Merseyside.
In 2003 and 2005 Nichola fronted the BBC Manchester input for the networks
"Children in Need" programmes and more recently she wrote and presented her
own 40 minute programme "The Seven Wonders of the North West" – a
celebration of landscape and heritage in the North West of England.
Her most recent work has been varied to say the least and as a presenter for BBC News 24 it has taken her to the heat of Arizona, the magical world of Lapland and also the exciting location of Centre Court No1 Wimbledon
Apart from the above, Nichola is a vivacious personality who prides herself in putting anyone at ease….no matter who they are! Her training as a journalist (NCTJ Qualified) has meant that she's also very comfortable scripting and researching her own work, and getting the most out of her guests and those that she meets.
Presenting, is just one of her skills… A qualified journalist, professionally trained dancer and actress, and an accomplished pianist and flautist….Nichola's love of the Arts and particularly arts around the world has meant that over the years her work has enabled her to explore all of her passions at the same time ( and in some rather exotic locations)
She has worked on many corporate videos and seminars for major clients
