Rhonda has been a practising solicitor for 15 years, specialising predominantly in criminal law. She graduated from Glasgow University in 1986 before taking a year out to travel the world, where she worked in pubs and clubs.

As a criminal solicitor Rhonda concentrates on representing people she believes are underdogs; people who are vulnerable and need a voice. She has run her own practice for the past 10 years.

Born in Lanark, Rhonda attended Uddingston Grammar. Her father, a senior police officer, was and remains her inspiration, giving her a passion for justice and the law.

At the ripe old age of 40, Rhonda has successfully combined a high flying career with family life. Rhonda is a single parent to her two sons (aged 7 and 9). She claims her sons are child protégés and insists this is from their mother's side. The boys are sports mad and often sentence their mother to a game of football. In between working, tennis and sleeping, she manages to fit in a vibrant social life.

A real people's person, Rhonda loves to party and does an impressive Elvis impersonation.

One of her ambitions is to help disadvantaged children all over the world, to this end she sponsors a child from Vietnam and hopes to do more in the future.

A sharp, witty and unavoidable presence, Rhonda is a formidable, yet compassionate character.
