Claire’s career has seen her circumnavigate the globe as a travel journalist for CNN Hotspots reaching nearly 300,000,000 viewers around the globe with assignments from the Middle East to Asia.
She has also worked on several other travel shows for Sky ONE and Granada.
Claire was also the face of Sky Travel Channel and also on Dream Destinations on the Travel Channel.
After a successful career in fashion one of Claire’s earliest roles as a television presenter was along side Midge Ure in the Motorbike series Ridge Riders
Claire’s work on Sky Sports Super Bike Series brought her recognition by the Sports controlling body when she was presented with their prestigious “commentator of the year” award at an end of season ceremony in London.
Claire was runner up in Miss World in 1992 and has since presented several Miss World live shows one of the most memorable being with Jerry Springer in South Africa.
Claire has many other credits including Channel Five Sport and shows for discovery home and leisure
Claire is also very much in demand for corporate work and voice overs, both at home and in the United States, and currently works for Chevrolet in Zurich.
Claire also runs an Interior design business , Hopkins-Smith Interiors with a retail outlet just outside Chester and a new website launching soon, hopkins-smithinteriors.com. |
