Kevin Woodford

Kevin is probably acknowledged as being one of the UK’s most versatile and talented television presenters, having hosted a wide range of programmes for both
the BBC and ITV. He is equally at home presenting live and pre recorded programmes.

Having trained in some of the World’s finest restaurants, he was selected as a Lecturer in Professional cookery at a college in the UK. After having gained a higher degree in Management he was then appointed as Head of one of the UK’s most prestigious colleges of Higher Education.

During this period he was ‘discovered’ by a producer at BBC Television whilst being interviewed on a radio show and no doubt, due to his lively personality, relaxed style, coupled with excellent communication skills, a full time career in the media soon followed.

What began with him presenting a variety of cookery entertainment shows soon developed into more general presentation genres including the BBC’s flagship programmes, ‘Holiday’ ‘SummerHoliday’ ‘Songs of Praise’ ‘Fasten Your Seat Belt” ( in which he took on the role of New York Cabbie, Deck Hand on a windjammer ship in the Caribbean, Concierge at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong plus serval other demanding jobs. Kevin also hosted a live Sunday morning debate show for over three years on BBC One, thus demonstrating his ability to interview high profile stars and politicians with relative ease.

Kevin has an impressive list of credits for guesting on most of the major prime time entertainment shows and can also add acting credits in ‘Doctors’ as well as ‘Hollyoaks’

Kevin’s most recent television project is being seen as one of the roving presenters on the BBC’s highly acclaimed consumer programme WATCHDOG.

An indication of his popularity with the viewers is his success as Presenter of Best Daytime Show at The National Television Awards and was also the subject of ‘This is Your Life’ by the BBC.
